Join us for an evening of thought-provoking cinema and engaging conversation with award-winning Canadian filmmaker Judy Jackson. We will be screening Jackson's latest documentary 'Where Can We Live in Peace?' followed by a discussion with the filmmaker herself. Jackon's latest film covers the migrant crisis and is centered on a migrant shelter in Mexico. The documentary focuses on individual migrant stories and humanizes the struggle and dangers migrants face from robbery and violence to exploitation.
FOCUS: Families of color Unite And Support::
This presentation will examine the many areas in which a speech-language pathologist (SLP) can provide diagnosis and treatment. Most people are unaware of the various roles of an SLP working with children from birth to high school.
Dr. Gregory-Martin is an Associate Professor at Pace University in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department.

Earth Friendly Fair is part of Earth Day All Around Natick, April 27-28
EARTH DAY ALL AROUND NATICK, April 27-28 will feature:
- Events all over town created by residents, families, community groups, and local organizations with opportunities for all to get outside, interact, learn, and do something good for the Earth, its living things, and each other.
- Earth-Friendly Fair on Natick Town Common, with informational booths and family-friendly activities (details coming soon), Saturday 9am-1pm.
- Repair Cafe (the fix is free!) at Natick Community Center, Saturday 2:30-5:30pm.
Please join us for three evenings of racial justice training. This is an opportunity to engage in small and large group discussions in a safe space. Each session will build on the last, as we work together to create shared language, and forge deeper connections by telling our stories and listening to the experiences of others. By the end of the third evening we will have a better understanding of each other, and be able to utilize what we have learned to move awareness into action in our own lives.

The Natick Historical Society is hosting a community read of Frederick Douglass'1852 speech, "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?" Featuring keynote speaker Brenna Greer, Natick resident and Wellesley College Professor of History. There will be coffee and snacks and an opportunity for dialogue after the reading.
Award winning illustrator and artist Ekua Holmes reads “Dream Street” about a special street bursting with joy, hope, and dreams and shares about the creative process of illustrating the book. Families will also be able to participate in hands-on activities during this special family story hour that will take place at the Natick High School library.

Holi (/holi/; Sanskrit: हो ली Holi) is a spring festival celebrated in the Indian subcontinent, also known as the “festival of colors” or the “festival of love”.
